'Tis the Season for a strike, apparently.

So, Steven and I finally finished up all our planning for our first trip to Europe (yes, first, because there will be many many more), only to find out last week that the employees of the BAA (the Brit version of the US's FAA) are planning to hold a strike on January 7th, which of course is the the very same day Steven and I are supposed to be flying into London. Of course, this poses a problem. We are watching the news like hawks and I will be contacting the airline we are supposed to be flying with to see what happens and, if something does, what will happen to our tickets (refund? re-directed to a new airport?). Anyway, it's just a little bit stressful. I mean, we'll get to Europe one way or the other. I told Steven that if we have to jump on a fuckin' boat and go over that way, fine. We're goin', dammit, and not even the BAA and their bullshit can stop us!! Chip chip cheerio and all that fine jazz.
